Reviewing Real Life - #230415-220829-206204

I recently reported a review - #230415-220829-206204 - on the grounds that it focuses on the real-life abduction on which the story was based.

No matter how true to real events the script and screenplay stick, or how far they deviate from them, the review should be about the film as a stand-alone drama. Trivia or Goofs are the sections to record differences.

IMDb submission guidelines seem clear on this. Apart from stating that the review must be “specific to the title”, rather than ignoring the content to discuss real events, the guidelines also contain the line:

“Do not include personal opinions on real life events or subject matter on which a film is based.”

Since my suggested deletion was refused on the grounds that you were “unable to verify” my comment, I would appreciate some detail of which bit was unclear in the hope that I can add more information.
