Review rejected sighting reason - badly formatted ! Why?
My review Contribution #201123-115243-740004 is rejected sighting reason that it's badly formatted. But it's the same way i have written other reviews.
Also I praised the filmmaker's liberal point of view for different religious communities. Please let me know why exactly the review has been rejected.

Hi Karen,
Thanks for your reply. I'm posting my reveiw below. You and other community members are welcome to have a look. Please let me know if you find an issue.
Refreshing filmmaking on a slow burning period drama -
Why 9 out of 10? Because there is always space for improvement. Did it quench my thrust for an indian period drama. It certainly has.
I haven't read the original book by vikram seth. So, unable to comment if it's a good adaption or not. But as an independent tv series, it's refreshing, certainly pulls the bar a notch higher for the future indian period dramas.
What i liked? The trademark meera niar'ish execution - long shots, beautiful classical music blending with the scenes, the uneventful events that sets the motion slow though it isn't in reality. It's a fresh antidote for hundreds of tv series in netflix that attempts to turn every scene into a twist. The acting of almost every single charecter - specially ishan khattar for portraying volumes of expression for almost all dimensions of emotions. I loved that charecter of mann - one of those charecters that if you read in your childhood, you long to be one. And ofcourse the brilliant picturization - the slow camera movements, it gives you time to breathe and enjoy a beautiful scenery.
What i didn't like? People from every socio-economie speaking in english is something hard to digest. But then it's an adaption of an english novel, so there is nothing much to complain.
Recommendation: IMDB will be flooded with comments from hindu-extremists crying it depicts love jihad. But the real reason for their anguish is it doesn't showcase muslims derogatively. It shows there is good and bad in every community. It shows a time just after india's independance - that had indian muslims who stayed back at the time of separation believing india as their own country, and their hindu neighbors who understood and respected that.
I recommend it to everyone to see that not very long ago there was a time when we loved our neighbors irrespective of their religion.

Hey all - this is still awaiting review on our end. Checking the original review I would suggest this section isn't needed:
"Recommendation: IMDB will be flooded with comments from hindu-extremists crying it depicts love jihad. But the real reason for their anguish is it doesn't showcase muslims derogatively."
My recommendation - just discuss the title and not the political objections people may have to it.

FYI @agangopadhyay I just saw your reply saying there were other live reviews stating it is "anti-Hindu" - if you see any reviews mentioning this I would class those as breaking our reviews guidelines.
If you see reviews that you believe do not meet our standards you can report them to IMDb using the 'Report this' link on each review.
