Reset Pass Word

Would it not be a GOOD idea to put the message block for password recovery at the first page of the website instead of it being buried in later pages? I guess this is asking to much, or there is insufficient knowledge of web site programmers to think of such a concept. Anyone in the site technical staff ever heard of KISS??
