Solved

Requests to remove the honorifics from two names were approved, but the changes do not appear on site (Sir Ken Robinson & Dr. Doug Fields)

Sir Ken Robinson

Dr. Doug Fields

My requests to remove the honorifics from the names Sir Ken Robinson and Dr. Doug Fields were approved. But on their pages, the honorifics still appear.

Hello jay_spirit

The honorifics were removed from the Name with the submitted corrections, now we can see that the credits were added as "Sir Ken Robinson" and "Dr. Doug Fields".
In this case to correct and remove the credited name, a correction with the onscreen end credits screengrab is needed too, to remove the credited names and show how they were credited.

I'm afraid I don't have screengrabs.

But the thing is, my request for the changes were already approved. They're just not appearing on site.

Moreover, it used to be that honorifics were not allowed in names and HAD to be removed.

Someone incorrectly added the names of these two persons as "Sir Ken Robinson" and "Dr. Doug Fields." Presumably, both were credited this way; but they should appear on IMDb as "Ken Robinson (as Sir Ken Robinson)" and "Doug Fields (as Dr. Doug Fields)."

Honorifics should only appear in the "as" section. (At least that was the old rule.)

But again, I already made these corrections. I changed their names and their credits so that their honorifics would only appear in the "as" section. The corrections were approved, but do not appear on site.

EDIT:

It seems that these changes are just delayed. "Ken Robinson" is already appearing as he should; presumably, Doug Fields will soon, too.

It looks as if this matter is resolved, but I'll let you know if Doug Fields does not appear as he should in a day or two.
