Repeated rejection of cast and crew updates since 2020 – História da Alimentação no Brasil (2017)

Hello IMDb Staff,

I would like to report what appears to be an issue affecting the title História da Alimentação no Brasil (2017).

IMDb title:
https://www.imdb.com/title/tt8051640/

This is a Brazilian documentary series produced by HECO Produções and directed by Eugenio Puppo.

For several years, every attempt to update the cast and crew for this title has been rejected.

After reviewing the contribution history, I found that the first rejection dates back to 2020, and since then every subsequent cast and crew submission has also been rejected.

The information I am submitting comes directly from the official on-screen credits of the series. I am currently working with the production company to update and complete the IMDb records for its productions, and all submitted information is based on the official credits.

One example of a rejected submission is:

Contribution ID: #260703-210701-243000

Because every submission has been rejected for several years, I believe there may be an issue with this specific title or with the validation process affecting it.

Could you please investigate why cast and crew contributions for this title are consistently being declined?

If there is a specific reason or additional documentation required, I would be happy to provide it.

Thank you very much for your assistance.

Hi bentowerneck-

Thank you for posting the reference! Taking a look, I can see that the credit additions were rejected because as per our guidelines, episodic credits must be added to the respective episode or episodes the person appears on/has worked on and not the series parent page.

You are welcome to add the credits to the episode or episodes the person worked on. If the person was credited on every episode of the show you can add the credit to multiple episodes through the contribution form.

For further detailed information and instructions on how to add episodic credits to an episode or multiple episodes all at once, I encourage you to review our following Help Guide. You can go to question #4: 'How do I add an episodic credit?.'

Will also note that when submitting filmography credits, in order to help our editors to verify the information, supporting evidence is recommended to be submitted. For further information on the type of evidence we ask for and how to submit it, you can review this other Help Guide.

Cheers!
