Removing Genre

The title of the film is "The Battling Fool" tt0014699. I was able to correct the length, which is for a 5-reel film at 4978ft/1517m and IMDb allowed me to remove the running time of 44 minutes, but when I put in to remove "short" as genre I was denied twice. I have had this issue before when trying to remove a genre and I don't get why it's mostly denied.

@Capamaroux no I don't know the running time and it appears to me that the majority of silent films on IMDb don't have running times listed. However, I do know that this is not a short film and should not be listed as a short film since it is 5 reels.
