remove credit

Hello,

I have a credit on my page for a documentary I had never even heard of, let alone worked on.

I keep getting removal requests denied saying there is no way to confirm the information, but I'm not sure how to prove that I did not work on the documentary.

The last attempt I even included a pay stub from a current credited production with my name on it to help verify that I am who I claim to be, no luck.

Please advise how to move forward.

Thanks

PLZHLP: Is it possible that another person with the same name worked on this documentary? If so, the credit should be corrected to assign it to a person with a different roman numeral after their name, rather than being deleted altogether.

Please provide full details about this situation so we can look up this credit and advise you about how it can be corrected.

@gromit82 As far as I can tell there is no other person with the same name on IMDB, mine is the only one that comes up when I search it.

Name is Jessica Snook, incorrect credit is "House of Numbers" documentary

@PLZHLP There is a Jessica Snook credited in that documentary:

Actually looking at the name page's history, this credit was on this page way before all the other "Art Department" credits were added. So if you are not the same person, moving "Art Department" credits to a Jessica Snook (II) would be the correct action.

Jessica: Here is how to move your credits to Jessica Snook (II). (As indicated by Mbmb above, the other Jessica Snook apparently had this page first, so that would make you Jessica Snook (II).)

Go to the Jessica Snook name page at https://www.imdb.com/name/nm3175252/. Click "Edit page".

On the next screen, on the Name Split line, select "Add split". Scroll down and click "Continue".

On the next screen, on the "Move Art Department member Credits to" line, select "Other (use box)". In the box to the right, enter:

Snook, Jessica (II)

On the "Move Additional Crew Credits to" line, leave it as "Don't move [Snook, Jessica]". Don't make any changes on that line.

Don't check the "Update existing credits with 'as'" boxes; they don't apply to this situation.

In the Explanation box, enter something like this: "I am Jessica Snook, and all my credits are in the Art Department. My credits have been mistakenly combined with another person named Jessica Snook, who has one Additional Crew credit. I am a different person from her, and so my credits should be moved to a page with a different roman numeral." Click "Check these updates".

On the next screen, you will get a warning that says, "The name 'Snook, Jessica (II)' is not currently in the database. ...." Select the option that says, "This is a different person not currently listed - create 'Snook, Jessica (II)'." Don't select the option that says "Snook, Jessica (Art Department, Deadly Class)", even though you did work in the Art Department on that show, because that's the name page you are trying to split. Click "Re-check these updates".

On the next screen, your data should appear with a green background, and you should be able to click "Submit these updates".

Allow a few days for the split to go through. Good luck!
