remove actor from credit

Hi there, I need some help removing an actor from a credit.

He was not in the film, and he is not an actor.

Now, he has requested that I remove him from the page, but my request has been rejected.

According to IMDb rules, all on-screen credits are to be listed in the base. If a credited person did not participate in the production, then such person is to be credited with the attribute "credit only". Thank you very much for the insight, so we all know now that your friend has to be credited as "credit only", but his name can not be removed from the base as been on screen.

Thanks for responding.

My friend that I added to the page actually has nothing to do with the movie. He had no involvement at all, neither acting or any other credit.

Can he be fully removed from the page as he has no association with the movie at all?

If he is not credited on-screen in the original video, then he will be, otherwise should not be removed. For more understanding, if you remove him now, then any contributor any time can add him again on the basis of the on-screen credit. IMDb can not be involved in such war of edits around the fact that a person is listed in the movie cast.
