Removal of alternative names never credited or non-factual?

Hi,

I do not see a way to remove two invalid alternative names that were never credited to any project I've ever worked on, at least not for any paperwork I have ever signed or post-credits I have ever seen with my name on them. How do I see "attributed to" data to track down what needs correction to remove the invalid alternative names? Thank you

Any credit attributes should be visible in the filmography or in the edit feature. If you post a link to the page someone can take a look.

@Levy Peter’s advice above is correct (thanks @Peter_pbn). If you would rather not share a link to your page here, you can easily check the data yourself. Click the “All topics” link on the right-hand side near the top of your name page. On the menu which then appears, at the bottom of the first column (headed “Credits”) there’s a link labelled “All Credits” — click this to view a single view of all of your credits, which should include the ones that have the incorrect “(as …)” credits.

For example -> https://www.imdb.com/name/nm0428065/fullcredits/

@Col_Needham Thank you very much for the /fullcredits/ url appendix, that helped a lot. The alternative names at the bottom of my profile are not used in any of the listed credits. How do I go about adding a contribution to remove invalid alternative names when the alternative names do not appear in any of the credit attributions?

I'm syncing my IMDB with my LinkedIn and vice versa, and I need to ensure all data is 100% accurate. Right now, alternative names are wrong, and it looks like I'll have to submit an ID or something to fix my birth name. IMDB has an extra name added to my birth name that shouldn't be there.

Yes, since this is a public support forum, I'd rather keep this discussion beneficial for everyone with a similar issue and stay somewhat anonymous in this public space.

Hi @Levy,

We have verified that you have been credited on screen across different titles with at least one of the alternative names listed on your name page. As such, we do not remove this information as per our guidelines and policies on alternative names. You can find an explanation for alternative names and more information on updating your personal details via IMDbPro on our help page.

We have removed the two names that we verified do not appear on-screen for the titles you have credits for that are listed on your name page.
