Release date of Film is not changing

Dear Team I have a film which completed festival round a few years back... Now when the film is releasing it is displaying film year as festival year ... how to delete the festival entries OR show the release year as film year ... Thanks Sharad M

We list release dates based on the first screening of the film which includes festival screenings, we consider festivals to be an official release. If the title was pre-screen at the festival in 2019, we will need to retain the release date information associated as it indicates the title's original release per our policies.

You are still welcome to add the other release dates with the respective attribute.

Thats scary , its almost impossible for me to release in india ... i will loose business and associations and my reputation ..... How do i escalate the matter with IMDB and whats the process

is there a way to change the year ( 2026) that comes on home page and have the other festival dates in also as you can notice it has a release date now ...

@sharad_m- Unfortunately, this cannot be changed as per our guidelines linked and as mentioned above, the initial festival release needs to be retained as it indicates the title's original release.
