release date incorrect

Hi, my film Weasel Frankie VS Uncle Clay has never been screened at a festival or released in any way but has an old date I want to get rid of as it is now being prepared for festival submissions after lying untouched for some years - it has been completely reedited, has a new score, and new material is bering shot for it. Some of my additions and title change etc. have been accepted for the title page but the old date remains as IMDb seems not to accept that It hasn't been released and wants proof that it hasn't been released previously. How can I prove it hasn't been released previously? How can I provide evidence that something DIDN'T happen?1? Please help me with this, thank you, A.L. Nott

Have again submitted an edit request to have old date removed to reflect the updated production status of 'post production', hopefully this will sort it out!

Hi A_L_Nott-

In order for our staff to take a look, can you post below the 18-digit submission reference number for this edit?

Cheers!

Hey, Bethanny.

That's... that's just fantastic.

A highway of possibility opens before me...!

Have a great day/evening

Another thing I tried but was unable to correct on same page: my writer credit has empty brackets after it which used to contain I think screenwriter before I corrected that to the default 'writer'. If those remaining stray brackets could be removed that would be great. Just looks a bit messy.

Thanks,

A.L. Nott

Actually it doesn’t work … tried many times… when I go to correct, the field in question is blank but on the page itself there is a pair of empty brackets, so because in the edit page there’s nothing to delete, I can’t make a correction by deleting. When I put an explanation in the field in question, it doesn’t allow it. Basically, it’s a glitch. You can see the issue here: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt5671784/reference/

I mean like this - a big gap following 'Writer'  then ... then ( )

@A_L_Nott Hi! You have the option to upload an image to your comment below the text box. I looked at it on 2 different browsers and the mobile app, no brackets.

Hello A_L_Nott,

I have checked on the site and we could not find the brackets in the item. Find a screenshot below from the title credits.

I think it is just in the full credits view, as shown in picture I uploaded. But maybe the stray brackets are normal, just looks a bit weird to me.

thank you for trying,

best,

Anton

@A_L_Nott It looks like you are using reference view which is a special view designed only for top data contributors and not general use. For various reasons we are unable to make any changes to this page. Please visit https://www.imdb.com/preferences/general and uncheck the option and press the “Submit” button to switch to the standard view.

Hope this helps.

Thank you Col. Needham,

that’s great to know. Thank you also for creating IMDb. It’s such a valuable and meaningful resource and means so much to me personally.

Warmly and sincerely,
