Release date corrections no longer accepted

Hi

since the format for international release dates have changed, I'm no longer able to change release dates for a title that already have one for a specific country.

I always try to keep up this information for German release dates, and due to COVID and other factors, release dates for up-coming theatrical releases change regularly. Why isn't it possible to correct these dates anymore?

Hi SirPercy,

What are you trying to change the release date from/to? Do you have an example of something you cannot modify?

From your screengrab the error message says "...the attempted modification does not change the original item."

I don't know why the error message says "...the attempted modification does not change the original item." Doesn't make any sense to me.

I was trying to update the German release dates for the following movies:

"Bodies Bodies Bodies" [tt8110652] from October 6th, 20222 to October 27th, 2022

"Prey for the Devil" [tt9271672] from October 27th, 2022 to November 3rd, 2022

"Mrs. Harris goes to Paris" [tt5151570] from July 14th, 2022 to November 10th, 2022

Neither of these works, all with the same error message.

@SirPercy  In the meantime, you can still correct the release dates by deleting the old incorrect one and adding the replacement new one.  It is best to do this in the same submission.
