Rejection of credit due to title conflict
In 2001, I created and produced a short film titled "Dirty Laundry", which premiered in October of that same year. I am trying to add this film to my credit list, but it is continually being rejected. Please advise what to do.

Consequently, you would need to submit this film to IMDb as a new title -- see the form that begins at http://www.imdb.com/updates?update=title and proceed through the several screens of data submission that you will have to go through. During the process, you will be able to submit your credit as a producer and any other jobs you held on this title, as well as identifying the director, writer, cast, editor, composer, etc. (Not all of these credits are required, but if you have the data you may as well submit it -- the more data you provide, the more likely it is that the film will be accepted into the database sooner.)
Since this film was from 2001, you will be expected to provide at least one Miscellaneous Link -- a link to a web page showing that the film was indeed screened or released to the public. If you have more than one Miscellaneous Link to submit, you should submit up to 10 of them, because doing so will give your film a higher priority to be processed for inclusion.
Once a film is listed in the database, it is possible to add the film to a person's credits, but the film needs to get listed in the database first before that can be done.
I hope this helps. Good luck!
