Rejected routine cast correction on Charlie's Angels (2000)
Per IMDb guidelines appearances as Self in fictionalized context should not be "Self" in role field, but instead should give identical name in case credit indeed reads as "...self". I correct remnant instances of that rule being relatively recent at least once a month (often more) and they rarely get rejected, but that was not the case with Alex Trebek in Charlie's Angels (2000): #201213-131403-936000 got the "Unable to verify" reason for rejection despite, well, there is not much to verify, movie is clearly fiction and Alex Trebek is clearly portraying a fictionalized version of himself.
Since unfortunately Alex Trebek passed away recently, I have a hunch that the reason for that might be a partial block due to influx of edits, however tangential. Of course, I'm not sure that is the case, though.

(I wish IMDb would automatically fix these or otherwise fix the unfortunate mechanism that prompted the guideline in question to be implemented in first place.)

Hey Nikolay - I've resubmitted this for you and I've passed the feedback on to the editor who incorrectly rejected it. Thanks for letting us know.
