Solved

Rejected Changes

I tried removing the cast that was at the series level instead of the episode level from some shows. While most were approved, some were rejected.

260901-101029-428000

260901-102438-990000

260901-102517-206000

260901-102743-391000

260901-102745-093000

Furthermore, while attempting to move a voice actor to the correct category, the error also occurred in only one episode. The voice actor has already had their credits approved in the correct category.

Hi DuraNext-

Thank you for posting the references! Further reviewing, for the credit deletes, we will keep the credits until the episodes are added respectively for these titles. A correction to the title (add the respective episodes) they appeared in can then be submitted instead.

If the episodes are missing, you are welcome to add the respective episodes through the contribution form and correct the titles for those credits.

As per the last 2 submissions regarding the correct categoy, these were re-submitted and the changes will be live on the site shortly.

Cheers!

Thank you for your response. So, casting at the series level is allowed if no episodes have been added?

Moreover, would that be the case even for "260901-101029-428000"? Unlike the others, the series has 51 listed episodes and credited people.

@DuraNext - You're welcome! The credits have to be added to respective episodes yes, but like mentioned above, instead of sending a request to delete these credits, the titles should be corrected instead so the credits can be added to the episodes. If there are no episodes listed on the title, these will have to be added first.

For that submission, instead of deleting them, they should have been moved to the episodes they worked on unless these credits were already listed within the respective episodes.

Understood. In the specific case of Kaleido Star, the Japanese voice actors were removed (probably because they were already attached to a specific episode).

But what about the American voice actors who should be listed under "voice actor - dub"? Without information on where to move them correctly, would it be proper to add them to "voice actor - dub" at the series level?

@DuraNext - They still have to be added to the respective episodes even if they are under the voice actor dub.

Yes, but what if I don't have the correct episode information?

Considering they're already at series level, instead of leaving them in the wrong category, wouldn't it be better to move them to the correct category and have whoever has the episode information add it?

As it stands, there are two errors: category and level. Moving to "voice actor - dub," even at series level, reduces the number of errors by half. Isn't that better than just leaving the error there?
