Here is exactly what I submitted as Trivia for Hyla Marrow: For evidence I included 4 pages from her Oui magazine interview where each point I made was backed up in the interview. Unfortunately the URL to those pages is apparently too long to enter here for you to see it, though it fit in the submission "evidence" box.
Hyla was a professional dancer by age 10 and became an
accomplished gymnast, figure skater and horseback rider. Her athleticism
lent itself to becoming a film stunt woman, a field she entered at age
22 when it was still dominated by men donning wigs and dresses to
stand-in for actresses. Her screen debut was a car crash in The Godfather (1972)
, and by age 33 Hyla had performed stunts in over 90 films. Though
the job was not viewed as especially ladylike, Hyla was very proud of
her career, hoping to inspire other women to consider the field by
showing them that it was possible to do bold film stunts and still be
feminine.
Ed, thanks so much for helping. I'm sure I can get it down to 400 characters. I don't see anywhere in the guidelines a mention of how long a Trivia submission should be, but it does say to keep it "short." I'll do some editing and re-submit and see what happens! Thanks again for the tip.
