Ray Care & Raymond Care name merge DECLINED??

I submitted a name merge request for "Ray Care" and "Raymond Care" since it is the SAME PERSON!  I wrote, "The listing for 'Raymond Care' needs to be merged with 'Ray Care' because they are the same person. Ray is a former Navy SEAL and has contributed to both the shows listed on the 'Ray Care' profile as well as the movie 'Captain Phillips' listed on the 'Raymond Care' profile."  The reason for the request decline was "unable to verify."  How hard is it to verify that an EX-NAVY SEAL named "Ray Care" is also the same person as EX-NAVY SEAL "Raymond Care?"

How can I get these profiles combined since it is OBVIOUSLY the same person?
