Ratings should also be allowed by half points. E.g., I almost always give a rating of 8.0 when one third of those I want to give an 8.5. I see a significant difference in shows with 8.0 compared to those with 8.5.
How hard could it be to change the variable type to single from byte?
Just think, you could be the first site of your kind to do this!!!

Why don't you guys add .5 to your rating system..
Like 7.5,8.5
It will be very helpful to us if you do so..
