Rating of Dune (Denis Villeneuve, 2021)
Hi!
I'm somewhat confused regarding the rating for Dune. When I look up the film it says the total rating is 8,4, but when I visit the list for the most popular films on IMDB, it says only 8,2!?
Which is correct and why are the rating different?

There is a specific formula for the list, which doesn't count all ratings.
This is partly explained at the bottom of the list and also in the
Ratings FAQ

Only votes from regular IMDb voters are considered when creating the top 250 out of the full voting database.
