Question on title of movie: "Symptoms" aka "The Blood Virgin"
Link to page in question:https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0072239/
When not signed in to IMDB, the title shows as "The Blood Virgin", but on signing in as a UK resident it swaps over to Symptoms. I've looked over the page and at the list of titles by country, and it is listed as "Symptoms" on all named countries, but then only as "The Blood Virgin" for a mysterious world wide English language release, when I'm not sure what countries this would be referring to, or why that would override the other name?
Is this an error? All the posters appear to be Symptoms, English and other language releases all appear to be "Symptoms" or their localised equivalent, so I'm really not sure why it's getting the worse title as the default.

I wouldn't have thought the Blood Virgin title would be displayed as the default as it listed currently. Perhaps the page has been edited since you posted.
A text from the BFI says the title was used for a release in November 1977.

This was a data error which has subsequently been corrected as a result of your report, thanks. The (imdb display title) attribute on the International English title should only be used when that is the default English title worldwide. As Peter points out above, thanks, this was a local AKA for the initial UK release so (alternative title) is the correct attribute; this attribute does not change the title displayed at the top of the page, regardless of your settings.
