Question about editing a credited submission request

Hi all,

I’m new to the IMDb Community, and I have a question regarding a submission request I made.

My family and I were the subject of a documentary called "Every Day's Little Pleasures" released in 1998, and I have submitted a request to add a credit. However, I mistakenly didn't put (uncredited) in the attribute field. I was 9 in the film, so my name is not in the credits.

Is there a way to edit, cancel or resubmit the submission while it is still pending?

Also, would the following link, which goes to a picture of me taken during the documentary's filming, be enough to validate my uncredited submission? I have an URL of the documentary too if that'd help.

Andre Campbell - Pride Stables

Suggestions welcome!

Here are the details of my submission, including the reference number:

220224-033309-386000

ACTOR ADDITION

Campbell, Andre (VI) Self

Hi Andre -

There is no need to resubmit, I have now approved the credit and it should be live on your page shortly.

Cheers!

While it is possible to resubmit in corrected form, the resubmission might just be rejected as a duplicate. I think it is better to wait until the first edit has been either approved or declined and then correct or resubmit it.

IMDb staff may also see your post and make the correction.

My submission was declined, so I resubmitted with the photo mention in my original post (as seen below), as proof. However, because I was a kid and I wasn't paid, I don't have the typical means of validation. I am still open to further suggestions. Has anyone else experienced this before? If so, what was your solution?

Thanks.

Hi Andre -

I can see that there is very minimal information listed on the title page, if you have a link to the documentary can you post it here to help verify your participation on the documentary?

@Michelle Film is here: https://www.cultureunplugged.com/play/50154/EVERY-DAY-S-LITTLE-PLEASURES

You can check around 21 min. mark to see the OP

Btw uncredited attribute is not needed here because this is a documentary and he's clearly "identified by spoken name" a few times.

@mbmb Thanks for posting the link (you beat me to it), but thanks all the same!

I didn't realize that "identified by spoken name" is just as valid as having your name in the credits. Thanks for pointing that out!

@Michelle Since my submission request was declined again, should I resubmit it and include the documentary's URL in the explanation box as supporting evidence? Should I also state that I'm mentioned by name several times throughout the film?

Thanks to you both!
