Providing evidence of on-screen credit
When data corrections/submissions are not accepted, a common reason is the inability to verify that the submission matches on-screen credits.
The best way to offer verification is to provide a screen grab of the actual credit as it appears on screen in the film or TV episode. In the past we've asked submitters to upload the image somewhere and send us the link/URL, but a better/simpler method is to post the image here in a GetSatisfaction topic, by clicking on the 'Add Image' button and embedding the image in your post, like this:
This, especially if done in the context of a request about data/submissions, allows us to see the image directly and is much faster than sending it via our 'data verification' form.
Note: this is a public forum so you should only upload images that you feel comfortable sharing with everybody. Images from the credits of a film are obviously fine since they are normally viewable by anyone who watched the movie anyway, but you should not upload anything private or containing personal information or which violates someone else's intellectual property.
