Producer Credits Order (urgent)

Dear IMDB Community,
I know this question has been asked many times over the years, has there been any update on being able to order Producing Credits in this section please?  My key Executive Producer who has put most money and has had responsibility in the film is currently at the end of the Producer credits, as his surname stars with a 'W'.  I so wish this was different, as its not professional as a representation of who was most senior on the film.
Please let me know, Thanks.

If you look to the right of the page under Related Conversations, there have been inquiries on order numbers in the Producers section. Right now, order numbers are only in the following departments and sections:

Cast
Writers
Company Credits

The Producers section, as well as other sections, is displayed on the web site by name in alphabetical order. It's not possible to submit producer names in order of importance or in order of appearance through on-screen credits.

I have no idea if there are any plans to include this item in the future. Perhaps an official IMDb representative can respond to this post.

Why is this so hard for IMDB to implement. I don't understand how dated this website is and why our industry uses it at all when such a simple request and solution could have been solved maybe 5-10 years ago....

Maybe because IMDb is not primarily designed to be a tool for the Californian entertainment industry, but a worldwide data registry for worldwide users?
(Even though i admit I do not understand why the cast order feature is not available by default for all credit sections...)

Maybe such things are not intended to be understood by us.

I believe IMDb doesn’t consider that the ”first” name on the Producer category is somehow more important than the number 2, or number 5. It’s the actual credit that matters the most.

I believe IMDb feels that it’s up to the production companies and producers to receive the ”correct”, or most appropriate, credit for their work. If five people are listed as ”Producers”, then so be it.
