I have been having problems editing Other Crew sections of tv episodes. When I try to delete for example Story Editor credits there and I press "Re-Check These Updates", sometimes the edits switch so that these deletions or other edits are in the wrong places (which means I would be deleting the wrong people). Other times, when I try to add new people in Other Crew, these additions disappear when I press "Re-Check These Updates". Also, sometimes people are doubled in Other Crew (when I am editing them) or some people are missing. Also, now I get this message on everything in Other Crew: "... is already credited for "Corner Gas" (2004) {Mothers Day (#4.12)} in the Other Crew section. In case you are trying to change the order in which the person is listed: Sorry, but sections other than writers and cast can only be listed in alphabetical order."
Also a Question: Where does Assistant Story Editor belong? If I try to put in the writers section, the site asks me to put it in Other Crew and when I try put it in Other Crew it asks me to put in writers section or deletes the update without any notice when I press "Re-Check These Updates".

I am just a user. I need staff feedback. I have presented the problem as simply as possible and won't reply to these postings anymore.

Thanks for your post.
As mentioned by DREAM_WEAVER, you need to acknowledge all the section listed in your submission - for example (sorry for the low quality, these are copies of the images you've provided):
Once you have ticked these boxes, go to the bottom of the page and click 'Re-Check these updates' - if there are any other problems, you will be presented with these in the yellow boxes beneath the submissions.
If everything is OK with the submission, it will turn green. Once everything is good to go, you will have the option at the bottom to Submit.
I hope this helps - let us know if you need more help.

I can confirm some of the weirdness imoth describes. For instance, I tried setting all the writing credits for a different title to Correct, then adding an 'assistant story editor' credit in the same form. On the next screen the new credit is moved to Other crew, but also something happens to the existing writing credits.

Thank you for raising, there is a specific internal problem here where 2 rules are contradicting each other. I've cut a ticket to get this fixed. I'll let you know once this has been resolved.

Thanks again for reporting the issue and apologies for the delay, I've now fixed the contradicting problems. Just to clarify any "assistant" writer role should be listed in the "other crew" bucket, not in the writer section.
Regards,
Will
