Problematic studio partner.

These movies had their original primary images replaced lately. All by studio partner stuff that doesn’t meet with the guidelines and direct messed up with the English/worldwide posters. Murmur of the heart: this one here is a cover art, not a poster https://m.imdb.com/title/tt0067778/ Night on earth: the poster was replaced by a fan made one - very bad made one, the title is in English but the billing box is in German (?) https://m.imdb.com/title/tt0102536/?ref_=nv_sr_srsg_0_tt_8_nm_0_q_night%2520on%2520eartg Blaise-mói: it’s a French movie, with an Italian poster on the English page. https://m.imdb.com/title/tt0249380/?ref_=nv_sr_srsg_0_tt_5_nm_3_q_baise%2520moi The Double Life of Veronike: the English poster was replaced by a Spanish cover. https://m.imdb.com/title/tt0101765/?ref_=nv_sr_srsg_0_tt_8_nm_0_q_the%2520double%2520l Femme Fatale: bad scanned foreign language dvd cover. https://m.imdb.com/title/tt0280665/?ref_=tt_mv_desc The Mother and the Whore: the English poster from 1973 was replaced by a recent french 4k rerelease poster. https://m.imdb.com/title/tt0070359/?ref_=nv_sr_srsg_3_tt_1_nm_7_q_the%2520mother%2520and%2520the%2520w And keep the warning because its happening too many cases of this, surrounding fake stuff and covers appearing on the wrong place over the last weeks. And is getting more and more harder to correct them once the system seems to not be working correctly lately (too many illogical declines). Please, unlock them all so I can bring back the original ones. And get in contact with the user who’s adding them before he causes more damage.

Hi @jackry - Thanks for reporting this. I changed some of them back, for others I was unsure if there was a better English version poster, feel free to suggest one here and I will do the change. I checked on other posters changed by same studio partner and there are quite a few that need to be changed, have escalated the issue and will take care of any remaining one after a resolution on what to do with the studio partner. Thanks!

Hi, @Bethanny  For Night on Earth the English previous poster is this one (this is the only official poster in English, no secondary versions) - courtesy from the now-defunct FFF movie posters, which turns it into some rarity, so it won’t be other of the same kind even if the image is only 1200 pixels height. https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0102536/mediaviewer/rm500520704?ref_=ttmi_mi_typ_pos_5 Regarding Murmur of the Heart there are 3 English posters: the one from the 1970s with the reviews: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0067778/mediaviewer/rm414572801?ref_=ttmi_mi_typ_pos_11 An 1989 Orion pictures rerelease which can be found only in small size/deplorable conditions over the internet and, at least, the Australian poster. For Baise-moi, I now uploaded an English poster, 840 pixels height, retouched by me on photoshop, ain’t much but is the finest that it can get (currently, maybe something better appears in the future). https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0249380/mediaviewer/rm2420464385?ref_=ttmi_mi_typ_pos_3 But I think it’s much better always keep the poster from the original release era if possible. Once we are talking about the initial run in comercial theaters (which is the time when the image is most widespread), it’s kinda difficult that future releases like home video (unless the movie was released straight on this market), festival screenings and limited restored in 4K/anniversary special editions (those that only happens only a day or week in a very few cities) can surpass the same popularity. Anyway, I’m not trying to start any discussion about art or design, those images doesn’t reflect my personal taste, they are what they are. Again, thanks for the consideration.

A new one, from today. This one has the poster replace by an old dvd cover. https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0151137/ Better take an action fast before it’s gets worst. And even consider the possibility of hack or vandalism, this kind of behavior is not normal. Those titles doesn’t have any remotely similarities in terms of distribution.

Hi @jackry, thanks again for flagging. We've taken steps to prevent more of these bad image replacements from occurring whilst we investigate and revert those already affected. Many thanks again!
