Problem with anime credits
Someone or a group of people is essentially vandalizing IMDb anime pages with incorrect information. There's a situation where voice actors are being added to the wrong category and in a completely wrong way.
In Mao, for example, someone added ALL the same American voice actors to the cast for the first 21 episodes, when obviously many of the characters assigned to them don't even appear in the episode.
Apparently, the same thing is happening with the anime Even the Student Council Has Its Holes!, where all the names credited in the wrong category were assigned to all 5 episodes available on IMDb.
In both cases mentioned, the person who added the names made no distinction between the original cast and the American dub, crediting the people only with the attribute "voice".
According to IMDb's rules, I am requesting that these credits be moved to the correct category instead of being deleted. However, IMDb is obviously not being a reliable source of information in these cases, because someone can add American voice actors to the cast without any verification of whether that person is actually credited in that episode.
I also noticed that it has become common for voice actors to be credited with all the characters they voiced in every episode. If Voice Actor A voiced "Goku" in 5 episodes and voiced "Luffy" in 5 different episodes, all 10 episodes are being credited as "Goku/Luffy," even if one of the characters doesn't appear in some of those episodes.
Honestly, someone on the staff could pay attention to this. In the case of Mao, I requested that all the credits in the wrong category be moved and they have already been moved (although I'm sure many of them didn't participate in all 21 listed episodes), I'm doing the same with Even the Student Council Has Its Holes!, but it seems clear to me that if IMDb doesn't take some action, this will continue to happen.
