Possible to lock down an attribute?

In the recently televised Queen's Platinum Jubilee celebration, during the programme Martin Clunes was incorrectly captioned as "Damian Lewis OBE", an error which has been fairly well documented: https://www.dorset.live/news/dorset-news/martin-clunes-gets-confused-damian-7086181 https://www.birminghammail.co.uk/news/showbiz-tv/itv-under-fire-mortifiying-queens-23966689 https://www.walesonline.co.uk/lifestyle/tv/viewers-spot-name-blunder-during-23968295 etc. However, in the closing credits, he is correctly credited as "Martin Clunes OBE" In terms of IMDb credits, given that the update form does not allow us to submit "also as..." (and bearing in mind the advice I was given by Michelle on a similar thread), I have updated the cast list as follows: Martin Clunes ... Self (as Martin Clunes OBE) (as Damian Lewis OBE) I have also submitted a Goofs note, which is still pending. This seems reasonable for now, but it seems to me that anyone coming to this cast list in future years (perhaps just seeing the entry on his filmography page and not seeing the Goofs entry) will understandably assume this is a mistake and remove the second attribute. Would it be possible to have some internal measures taken to prevent this - either by locking the attribute, or attaching some kind of flag to the credit?

Seems worthy of a trivia item on the title as well.

Hi tom_wake - Thanks for posting all the relevant details surrounding this credit listing, I have now taken internal steps to help prevent any incorrect removal of the listed attributes.  In the meantime, I have also posted this use-case on the existing policy team ticket, which is still being reviewed, for additional visibility on the need for  these credit type formatting rules and documentation. Cheers!
