What is the point of writing summaries or reviews only to get a response of "unable to verify" each time. What do I need to do, send you a copy of the show for you to watch?

A network TV show is on when it airs and then off, so it isn't like I can send you a copy of the DVD. 

And if you are going to watch the entire show to verify my summary or review, why don't you just write it? IMDB.com is making money off everyone's free contribution to the site, so maybe you can do this yourself. What is the point of contributing if it just gets rejected as "unable to verify" because you do not watch or have access to the show we watched. 

I've even received "unable to verify" when sending a link to the show on YouTube or some other site, so clearly there is no reason not to verify it.

Besides, what are you going to do in verifying? Tell me none of this happened? Do you think I watched Superman and then wrote how Casper and Wendy had a good time in the country?

At this point, a summary has been posted now, so there is no point in doing this one. There probably isn't any point in doing future ones, either.
