Plot outline in Trial by Fire has a major spoiler

The climax of the movie is centred around the execution, or will he get a last minute reprieve on what seems to be significant new exonerating evidence. 

However, the plot outline states “...story of Cameron Todd Willingham, who was executed...” whereas maybe it should say, ...story of Cameron Todd Willingham, who was sentenced to death...Anyway, it's a very good movie albeit absolutely spoiled for me by the plot outline. 

As I'm not a regular contributor, I'm posting here as I'm not sure where or who can fix this so as not to spoil it for others
