Photos of people?

Just like adding posters and images for movies is now free as opposed to what it used to be in the past, why isn't adding primary photographs of people free as well? It's a basic thing needed and making it free won't harm anyone in anyway. If it goes like this that "isn't it enough for you that at least the privilege of adding images to titles free?", then I must say I'm disappointed.
