So if I now go to page 1 the Son,

upp on top to the right there is a "Biography" link which if I click it, I come to a page that says:

Family

Parents

Kristen Gislefoss

Question?

Who does this edit not also automatically create a "Biography" link on the father page also,

with a Family - Child link?

I'm following up to confirm that this is actually working as intended. The "Biography" link only appears on a name page when a bio exists in our system - either a mini-bio submitted by a contributor or one auto-generated by our system. Adding a family relationship alone doesn't create a bio or trigger the Biography link to appear.

The family connection you submitted is stored correctly, and it will display on the father's page once a bio exists there. To make that happen, you can submit a mini-bio for that name page.

Are you saying there is NOWHERE to see the info about family relations anywhere on this page, unless a human also writes a bio? It is not accessible anywhere to regular users? Only hidden behind the scenes in the system?

In the "All topics" menu I can click Biography even though it is not highlighted, and the family data is there. It is a little strange that the link is not highlighted when there is data on the bio page.

In addition, this data is often displayed in the "Personal details" section on the name page, but apparently family data is not enough to display that section. I think maybe this is an oversight since for example height data is enough.

@all- The data is displayed on the page, but without a listed Biography, the page does not activley highlight a "Biography" section.

We have forwarded the feedback regadring the display to the approrpiate team for visibility.
