Order of names in the "Birth Name" section - should a Hungarian name be "surname firstname" in Birth Name?

I've just made a minor correction to the birth name of director Peter Medak (addition of accents), and it set me wondering. He was Hungarian, and Hungary conventionally places the surname before the given name(s) - so in Hungary he was Medák Péter. Does IMDB always use the English-speaking convention of putting the surname last, or should birth names be in the local format for the place of birth?
