One film listed twice
Italian TV horror flick La casa dell'orco, AKA The Ogre, has been on IMDb for 20+ years as part of an Italian horror anthology TV show called Brivido giallo: imdb.com/title/tt0095775
Now, someone didn’t think that was good enough, so they submitted the film on its own, and somehow it got accepted!

I want to know if there’s a good reason for the duplicate listing or if this is just an error.

The new title is listed as released in 1988, but that is probably not accurate.

I can see that the standalone title is listed with the release date of 1988 (https://www.imdb.com/title/tt11574932/releaseinfo/) while the episode title is listed with a 1989 release date (https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0095775/releaseinfo/).
Can you confirm how the title was first released? Was it first released as a film and later part of the "Brivido giallo" series?
