OK . . . what's the secret to getting your film posted on IMDB?

Hello IMDB Universe,

Hope everyone is well!

I've been trying like my life depends on it to get 2 shorts I made onto IMDB. What is the secret? Is it just putting the films on YouTube? Putting on Vimeo with password-protection? Bribe someone with ice cream?

The films have been selected to screen at 2 festivals next month but the only proof I have of that would be screenshots of emails, etc. The official sites and flyers aren't up yet. I even set up official pages on the production company website with trailers and production stills. It's frustrating.

Any ideas?

Thank you all! Cheers from NYC!

What are the 18-digit reference numbers of the declined submissions (if any) involved in this matter? If the expected release date is known at this point, then following the common folks' way of creating an IMDb title page may work, but there really should be some kind of proof of recognition of the movies by the film festival organization. Otherwise, we all will just be waiting around for the festival release. Using a hyperlink to a private "screener" as the miscellaneous link is fine, but there should be clarification that its upload date isn't intended to represent the original release date.
