NOVA Season Info Incorrect

The episode numbering for NOVA is woefully incorrect. None of the episode numbers match PBS guide data at all. For instance, '15 Years of Terror' is listed as S44E01, when in reality, S44E01, 'Secrets of the Sky Tombs', has not even aired yet. PBS guide data identifies 'Secrets of the Sky Tombs' as the season 44 season premiere. This has caused huge errors and mismatches for episodes I DVR as the problem seems to be pervasive. Wikipedia, TVDB, TMDB and others seem to have mirrored the IMDB episode order across the web. Issues go back as far as I can find, to season 19. The root of the issue is IMDB seems to have seasons starting in September or October, while in actuality they begin in January.

Thanks. Is it possible that the TV show started separately on a different channel first or in fact aired in a different order originally but has since been reordered? IMDb policy is to reflect the first release.

If you look at the link at http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/nova/listseason/01.html, this reflects the correct season structure and is straight from PBS, the network that has always carried the program. There is no question that current episodes are numbered incorrectly, as can be seen by the episode description listing yesterday's episode, Secrets of the Sky Tombs, as the season 44 premiere.
