Solved

No "Add photo" button for newly added videogame

Hello,

I'd like to add official poster image for the newly added videogame "Impirical Evidence":https://www.imdb.com/it/title/tt41288793

Unfortunately no "Add photo" button appears in the main title page nor in the gallery/mediaindex page.

How can I upload the Poster, or any other Image/Screenshot or Trailer?Thanks for your time and help,Marco SidotiMatch Head Studio

@littleredspiders thanks for you're reply but there's where it SHOULD appear but it doesn't.I can see that same button in any title but on Impirical Evidence.No Photo section shows up in the main title page and even in the "Photos/mediaindex" there is no such a button.

Hi thebaddie-

To answer your question regarding how to add a trailer, for them to display on the front end of the page, an IMDb Title Scorecard access is required and in order to add video content such as trailers to title pages on IMDb, it can only be done by applying for Title Scorecard.

The user must be a representative of Studios, Production and Distribution companies, and PR agencies to add such content.

Please refer to the following Help Guide for more information and for the application form.

You can still add 'External links' but these will only display in the 'External sites' section of the title page.

Cheers!

Quick Update: now the "Add photo" button is showing but once I click it, just a 404 error shows on the sidebar that pops up.

Edit: the "Add photo" button is not showing anymore again.

@Maya Hi there,

12 days have passed since the last update and the issue still persists. To help the team investigate further I'd like to clarify a few points:

  • I am able to succesfully upload photos to other titles on IMDb (both movies and videogames) but this specific title (tt41288793) shows no 'Add photo' button at all. This suggest a permission or configuration issue specific to this entry.
  • Could you please confirm if this title is considered 'claimed', or if there is a specific restriction based on Genre, Tags, Development Status or anything else?
  • Does this specific title require and IMDBPro subscription to enable image uploads?

As we are currently in the middle of marketing campaign for the release, having at least an official poster is critical.

Thank you for your assistance.

@thebaddie - Hi,

Apologies for the delayed response! The reason why the '+Add photo' is not enabled on IMDb.com is because this is an In-development title with an 'Announced' production status.

Correct, to add images at the moment because of its status can only be through IMDbPro with the subscription.
