New Problem with Future Olympic Credits

@Maya​ why you dont remove all credits from the Games of Milano, now we have 2 Norwegian Skiers which are credited but wont take part cause of injuries

@Maya​ why you dont remove unproven credits? the Olympic Games start on Friday and there are credits for all 17 days already

You cant add athletes before the games started, all have to be removed and than added after each day and the starter lists. A chilenean Skier is credited too whio wont participate

@tatjana1984- Thank you! As mentioned, if you observe an error for an individual who is listed but didn't compete on that day(s), you can go ahead and submit the respective correction/deletion requests for those credits.

@Maya​ its funny, now you dont need to prove that someone did participate, you need to prove he didnt

@Maya​ you should ban the person who added it from submitting for submitting datas which are not based on facts

@Maya​ and on all credits of participants outside Hockey and Curling the roles are wrong athletes in Biathlon, Skating etc. etc. are not players

and Laura Nolte is not the german Flagbearer by the way

@Maya​ and I wont submit that, cause I dont have the time to correct this mass of wrong credits and than if it gets declined I have to post it here, no chance

IMDb lists lots of data for future releases and even titles that may never be made or released, so I guess they won't block or delete data just because the event hasn't happened yet.

But I think if it is pointed out that a contributor has submitted unreliable or poorly formatted data, IMDb could do more about that. Just submitting corrections does nothing to stop the previous contributor from continuing.

@Peter_pbn​ yes but you cant add datas for a live event with people who ended their carreer 1 year earlier and so on

@Maya​ I think that IMDb should be at least somewhat reluctant to accept cast credits for future live broadcasts of sporting events.

@gromit82​ good example today are players of Finland and Canada in Womens Hockey credited, the match is cancelled cause Finland has not enough players cause of Norovirus
