New on IMDb and want to add credits on movies for myself

Hi all lovely people,

I'm a makeup & hair artist and just created a free profile here. I worked on few movies including a Hollywood one starring Nicolas Cage. I'd like to polish my portfolio and decided to add credits for myself here.

I've just done research via "help center pages" and it seems like I can create a professional profile and add credits for myself only becoming an IMDbPro member. Am I correct here? Is this the only way? I don't want to be tight to any memberships. Is there another way to create my makeup artist profile and add credits?

Hi Zuzana -

An IMDbPro membership is not required to submit your credits to the site.

If you have an on-screen credit that you would like to list on the site, once you submit the credit and it has been approved, a new name page will be created for you.

Thank you for your help. I appreciate it.

I successfully added the credit but now I want to add the bio and the picture for the newly created profile of Zuzana Kasinski (the makeup department).

Then I wanted to add a biography but the "item" has been rejected. I'm not sure where is a problem here. The same happens when trying to add the "webpage" to the site.

Zuzana,

All of your social media sites should be listed under Official Sites (included under External Sites), not in your biography. The Description should be only the name of the site, e.g., Instagram.

For adding images to a person's page on IMDb, you have to have an active IMDbPro membership:
