New IMDbPro officially launches

For several months IMDbPro users have been able to opt in and out of the
new Pro site while sections were re-designed and moved to a better,
faster technical platform. During that time the Pro team have made
adjustments to the new design and features based on customer feedback.
The remaining sections (including the message boards) were moved
yesterday and the option to opt back to the old site removed.


As well as improved appearance and usability, one major benefit of
the new Pro platform is the rapid publish of customer-submitted data.
Once approved, the majority of credits and title details will appear on
the site within minutes, rather than waiting for a once-a-day build
cycle to publish the data.
