Solved

Need trailers added to multiple titles + more.

Like always, let me state the following. Yes, I understand the IMDb Scorecard system. No, I am not a part of this company’s, or any company’s, Scorecard. However, I have no intent to harm/grief these pages, or any IMDb page for that matter. I only wish to help them. That is why I am requesting these trailers to be added to these titles. The Killer Bean IMDb Page: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt4707996 Trailer: https://youtu.be/xRqIdMqzt5w?si=dFhBz14mlCllFSCK Killer Bean 2: The Party IMDb Page: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0307057 Trailer: https://youtu.be/_ebV45Jpw4c?si=YkVn3Uxd_EooV3Uz Killer Bean Unleashed IMDb Page: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt13106886 Trailer: https://youtu.be/uANQ35_ch0E?si=Itwox2AzewBCQk86 Killer Bean (TV Series) IMDb Page: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt13041104 Trailer: https://youtu.be/9pN_x3qk56c?si=w2elX9rJPXGSHxzL ^This title also needs its certificate changed to Not Rated as it was never rated in US, and the current rating on the page is unofficial. It also needs the “tv-mini-series” tag removed as this series was never a miniseries, it was just cancelled. Killer Bean (VG) IMDb Page: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt15273914 Trailer: https://youtu.be/87KtMnmZWzQ?si=_dJ-8Km_AaydGlAQ Killer Bean Forever (https://www.imdb.com/title/tt1340108) also needs its certificate changed to Not Rated as it was never officially rated in US, and the current rating on the page is unofficial.

Hi FTWDM- Thank you for posting the links! However, adding video content such as trailers to title pages has to be done through IMDb Title Scorecard. As an alternative, you can submit them instead to the External Sites section for each title. Cheers!

Really? Because I have added several trailers to multiple different titles due to the companies not tending to the pages themselves. Just curious as to what changed since last time I did this was, if I remember correctly, late September, and I just needed to clarify the following in order for them to be added. I am not part of a Scorecard and have had trailers added to multiple titles several times via this community forum. (you have helped me out with this several times as well lol)

Hi FTWDM,

The previous process likely took place whilst Scorecard was being revamped. Therefore, from here on in, you will need IMDb Title Scorecard to add video content such as trailers to a title page's video gallery. As explained in our Help guide, the user must be a representative of Studios, Production and Distribution companies, and PR agencies to add such content.

Cheers!

Understood.

But I do have one note: I don’t see the harm in requesting for trailers to be added if the company who produced the title does not take care of it themselves.

For instance, I have been in contact with the Community Manager of Remedy Entertainment. I asked him about Remedy’s IMDb Pages, and he said that ‘the company does not manage those’. I then told him that I have been overseeing the pages myself, and along with that, adding featured trailers via the community forums, independently. He thanked me and said that I should feel free to do so, and that others should as well.

So my question is: what’s the harm in adding trailers to pages that production companies do not oversee/manage?

With that, let it be known that the titles that I have linked to the original post are clearly not being managed by the company/creator.

Along with that.. what’s the harm in adding featured trailers if it is stated that it is acceptable to do so by members of the company?
