Need to contact IMDb directly RE: STAFF MISCONDUCT
It’s bad enough that IMDb allows vicious misogynistic, racist, and anti-LGBTQ sentiments to run rampant in reviews. But now I can prove IMDb is actively participating in discrimination through the Parents Guide. I have collected (and continue to collect) far too many concrete examples for this to be dismissed as mere coincidence or idle suspicion. I have identified a clear pattern of prejudice based on illegitimate submissions that have been approved and many, many valid, rule-abiding submissions that have been blocked.
I can demonstrate how IMDb is flouting its own guidelines for Parents Guide contributions. I can also show that the suppression of these legitimate submissions violates the Contributors Charter in multiple ways.
While I am angry and disappointed, I do not wish to be vindictive or to embarrass IMDb or its parent company. All I want is for this matter to be resolved and for all IMDb users to be treated equally, fairly, and with decency and respect. I would like for people checking the Parents Guide to be given the opportunity for the informed consent IMDb alleges it offers, especially since the information being blocked pertains to brutal, triggering violence. ALL people who have experienced trauma should be allowed to choose what they’re exposed to on screen, not just the people IMDb deems worthy of consideration. IMDb is currently denying many affected individuals that choice by suppressing pertinent information.
I want to give IMDb an opportunity to address this issue privately and internally. To do that, I need someone at IMDb to have a real conversation with me. I need an actual human to speak with me, not a form letter and a robot.
I hope IMDb and I can resolve this without a commotion. However, you should know that I am willing to do whatever is necessary to get IMDb to do the right thing. I even have a public relations professional who has volunteered his services should IMDb ignore the issue or take an intransigent position. What’s happening is unacceptable and I refuse to tolerate it or be silenced any longer.
So, IMDb, you have my information. Please get in touch.
Thank you.

To put it bluntly, there’s no number to call and IMDb staff mainly answers to this forum, or you could get in touch with them more privately via IMDb help desk. Those are pretty much your options.
