Need staff help with submissions and page deletions.

I have many issues but I'll post only a few of them for now.

Submissions I've submitted more than once to no success:

#220217-055847-247000 - A credit that is valid on all episodes except the pilot, I tried to remove it, I ripped the full episode credits from the DVD and uploaded them to imgur as proof but it was still declined.

#220222-154717-544000

#220222-155626-428000 - These two relate to a credit that should be listed in editorial department, the credit was inaccurately truncated to ' assistant post producer' and added to the producer section, the credit is listed correctly in the editorial department so I applied to delete the duplicate, submitting a screenshot of the full credit and providing timestamped video evidence but it was declined as 'badly formatted', not sure how you badly format a deletion but I'd like a second look.

#220225-152700-906000

#220225-153525-510000 - These two suffered a fate I've encountered before recently, while they were approved, I added two people to the composer section, one person went in okay, the other pended for days then was approved but moved to the 'music department' I deleted those and retried but same thing happened. Is it possible to move the credit in 'music department' back to 'composers'?

#220225-181311-240000 - Submitted corrections to a full cast because it's order was a mess with triplicate order numbers etc, I supplied timestamped video evidence, half of it was approved, the other half pended for days then was all declined.

#220225-170246-280000 - Someone had added the same cast and crew to two episodes of a series when they had several differences, I made 41 corrections with evidence all but the only cast credit deletion were approved. See it's a documentary series and obviously credits appear throughout, this person does not appear which is hard to prove unless someone watches the entire episode I provided.

Pages to delete:

https://www.imdb.com/name/nm10097678/

https://www.imdb.com/name/nm10871957/

These are companies added as people pages, while I'm now blocked from deleting these credits so the pages aren't empty, I have added the appropriate company page to the title, so you are clear to delete the pages above.

Two titles that seem to be the same and can probably be merged.

https://www.imdb.com/title/tt13958796/ - "Torture" (2016/I)

https://www.imdb.com/title/tt14076510/ - "Torture" (2016/II)

I have more but I've tried resubmitting them myself and they've been pending for a week so I'll check back in if they are declined.

Thank you.

Hi VonPunk -

Thanks for reporting all these submissions, most of these updates have now been approved and the requested changes should be live on the site shortly.

However, concerning the following submission:

220225-181311-240000: the evidence link provided for these credit order updates was not able to be verified due to fuzzy credits.  Do you have clear screen grabs or a link to the end credits where the end-credits are readable?

Cheers!

@Michelle I actually do have a set of high quality images from the original release that I used to correct the credits, sorry it was my bad, I did not realise the quality dipped on that YouTube video when I sourced the end credit time stamp for something to show since the original Amazon release looks to have been long removed. But the submission has been put through not just once but twice since I posted so it's all on the site correctly now.

I've dug the images back out just to show you I used a decent source for my submission and wasn't fudging things from that video.

On triple checking the cast I did forget to add a voice attribute to one role, as they only appear as a voice on the jeeps OnStar system but I can't get this added, I explained but they want proof and I'm not sure what to do to prove someone is a voice only part because an editor isn't going to watch a 30 minute show are they? Sub #220304-161550-533000

I can see pretty much everything has been approved. Just two things not yet, this page deletion https://www.imdb.com/name/nm10097678/

and this one #220225-153525-510000 (details above)

This unnecessary duplicate can be deleted too

https://www.imdb.com/title/tt16304616/

No idea why it was made they even copy and pasted stuff from the original page so they knew it wasn't needed.

Super grateful for the help.

Still have a lot of stuff pending but I did have a problem with merging 3 pages belonging to the same person. being declined, I added a link to the guys LinkedIn page where he has his work displayed proving that all 3 pages are the same person, if you could take a second look when you have time. #220302-114621-195000

@Michelle I am very grateful to you for solving these burdens. They are all but one live on the site. This one below is still an issue.

#220225-153525-510000 - I added two people to the composer section, one person went in okay, the other pended for days then was approved but moved to the 'music department' I deleted those and retried but same thing happened. Is it possible to move the credit in 'music department' back to 'composers'?

Also I wanted to ask could a relevant staff member, solve the conundrum posted in the last 2 weeks in this thread:  https://community-imdb.sprinklr.com/conversations/data-issues-policy-discussions/contribution-showrunners-and-head-writers/5fdd6c989eb95c2debc8e551?commentId=6218850bcabee311021c4cc7&replyId=621945943d45c173c9735be5

It seems like we are being pointed in different directions over whether to alter existing credits or add duplicate credit's. Both Adrian and I have been greenlit to delete all these duplicates but others point to contradicting info.

The thing that bothers me most about adding the duplicates with 'showrunner' attached is that some are spamming titles with false credits even with wrong name pages attached.

Here's an example, there was a lady called Emily Thomas worked on Longmire as a Script Coordinator for the first 4 seasons then upped to Associate Producer on the final 2 Seasons, this is her page: https://www.imdb.com/name/nm5760719/

All is correct there she was never an Executive Producer or Showrunner, but someone tried to add her as such to all 63 episodes except they tagged the wrong page and did it with this one: https://www.imdb.com/name/nm5876833/

The latter is an Assistant Director best known for being Taron Edgerton's partner and had nothing to do with Longmire at all.

Also Longmire Executive Producer John Coveny likely was a showrunner but why was a 'producer (showrunner)' added for him to every episode when he was never credited as Producer only as Executive Producer, makes no sense to do that.

https://www.imdb.com/name/nm2100253/

Sam Esmail suffered a similar fate on Mr. Robot, a false 'producer' credit added to every episode just to get a showrunner credit added.

https://www.imdb.com/name/nm1322753/

Just last month I had to delete the wrong Danny McBride from a series and I've seen a bunch of other errors lately too, so this needs addressing I think. Also could you delete those 63 incorrect showrunner credits from Emily Thomas (XI)'s page if possible, I think way things are going for me I'll have major issues doing it. Thanks for any help.

Another issue, is a company name that's been kicking around awhile that I've never found to be accurate.

There is a production company called 'MY Entertainment'

as can be seen at these links

https://myentertainment.tv/

https://www.linkedin.com/company/my-tupelo-entertainment

An IMDb company page was created in Sep 2006: https://pro.imdb.com/company/co0192293/

Now it used to use the title 'MY Tupelo Entertainment' on some onscreen credits over a decade ago but seemed to drop that to a shortened version.

But a second IMDb company page was created with that title in Nov 2011:

https://pro.imdb.com/company/co0363769/

So are they allowed two pages? Or should they be merged under the older one with attributes where applicable?

On same tack, for some reason another page with as far as I can see no basis in reality was made under the title 'My Entertainment Holdings' in Nov 2008 and added only to Ghost Adventures episodes despite there already being a page and this one using a name not seen onscreen nor can I find evidence online of this name ever being in use, I'd just about eradicated this company page from Ghost Adventures but now someone had re-added it to almost all the episodes alongside the other ones. Surely this page should be deleted or merged into the oldest one.

This one: https://pro.imdb.com/company/co0252126/

Any advice or help would be great.

Hi @VonPunk -

My sincere apologies for the delayed reply, I'm circling back to help resolve these older, missed threads.

Concerning the Composer issue for this episode, I can see that both Gerry Anderson and Christopher Burr are credited under the Composer section.  I noted that Christopher Burr is also still credited under the Music Dept section, to confirm this credit should be removed, correct?

Regarding your call-out on the "Contribution: Showrunners and Head writers" thread, I will take a look and comment there shortly.

For the company page issue for "MY Entertainment", the separate page listings you observed have since been combined under "MY Entertainment".

Cheers!

@Michelle Hi. The issues on Dick Spanner had been resolved but it seems since I completed the crew on every episode someone has added Christopher Burr in the music department on every episode after that.

The credits say 'music by' so I had added his credit in the composer section on the episodes. The 25 music department entries are just duplicates in a different department, he only has one credit, it's  fine to delete all of those if you wish to be accurate.

All other problems are sorted here except the the false Longmire credits on this page https://www.imdb.com/name/nm5876833/

They need completely deleting as they are false credits attributed to the wrong person, more details above.
Thanks Michelle.
