need an option to un-check a speaker in a quote

I got into a catch-22 today trying to 'correct' a quote. I wanted to make the first line a stage-direction-only line, which meant the first speaker (already 'checked'/blue-lined from the original quote) should be blank. The page wouldn't let me un-check the first speaker, so I went ahead - and got the inevitable warning that the first line was a stage direction only, and shouldn't have a speaker. I agreed (of course), but couldn't un-check the speaker. (Believe me, I tried everything.) Please add this functionality.

I think this should be possible by holding down Ctrl while you click.

A tip: To insert a line at the top, add [first lines] in the first line of the existing quote. Then on the next page you can just edit the text.
