nearly 100 fake credits added to page
Hey everyone-
The page for Ryan O'Donohue has been badly vandalized sometime this year by a fairly persistent pest. This vandal seems to have a group of voice actors they LOVE adding as "uncredited" to a large amount of movies/TV shows, always as "additional voices" or some other vague trait. I might make a thread on them in the future once I gather proof but in this case it's pretty egregious. He or she has bloated a child actor's page to make him look incredibly prolific, when in reality he barely acts anymore. Honestly kind of funny, but pretty terrible for a reliable database like IMDb.
Could a mod blank these? Thanks.

I don't know why staff hesitates so much to delete everything added by a proven pure vandal. I have seen they are capable to do such thing, a few months ago someone's all additions were removed in only one day after reported here. So they can do it.

Yeah, I agree it's definitely the same guy. It's going to take a lot of effort to round all that up, but here's what I've found:
The vandal seems to be particularly obsessed with the actors Jack Angel, Bob Bergen, Rodger Bumpass, Jennifer Darling, Debi Derryberry, Pat Fry, Donald Fullilove, Teresa Ganzel, Sherry Lynn, Danny Mann, Mona Marshall, Mickie McGowan, Ryan O'Donohue, Patrick Pinney, Phil Proctor, and Jan Rabson. He or she has added them as "uncredited" to hundreds of pages. Usually they use something vague like "additional voices" but sometimes they have a vague trait like "guys" or whatever. This Bob the Builder episode is particularly funny. The vandal's "uncredited" additions are literally the only thing on the page outside of the voice of Bob the Builder!
The vandal also added a large number of uncredited animators to various pages, but those seem to be deleted with the exception of the Scooby Doo and the Witches Ghost page pointed above, which still has the gigantic list of animators the vandal is obsessed with as uncredited storyboard artists. (This may not be the "additional voices" vandal, but every page with the bogus animators had the gigantic uncredited "additional voices" list, so I'm gonna just assume it is.)
Maybe I've missed something here. I'll eventually file a megathread once I'm sure I've nabbed every page. This is REALLY brutal vandalism here. I know animation stuff on IMDb is prone to attracting pests but sheesh.

Thanks for reporting and providing additional context. I have now removed the fake credits on the name and related title page reported. I have also taken the appropriate actions with regard to the contributor responsible.
Concerning the outstanding threads mentioned, our staff are currently working through these threads and cleaning up the data. Any outstanding threads should be handled shortly.
