Name merge
I have 2 pages, one has listed me as Hackett Brigid (Surname, First name) - which is incorrect.
The other has listed me as Brigid Hackett - which is correct.
Can I please merge these pages under the name Brigid Hackett. (Art Department - Graphic design: Grime Kids, Pretty Red Dress, Essex Girls)

Brij: Go to the page for the incorrect version of your name at https://www.imdb.com/name/nm15274701/. Click "Edit page".
On the next screen, on the Name Merge line, select "Add merge". Scroll down and click "Continue".
On the next screen, there will be a blank space to enter your corrected name. Enter it exactly as follows:
Hackett, Brigid
Un-check the box marked "Preserve previous name on existing credits. i.e. '(as Hackett Brigid)'".
You will be required to provide an explanation. In the explanation box, enter something like this, assuming it is all correct: "I am Brigid Hackett, but some of my credits were incorrectly entered into IMDb with my name reversed as Hackett Brigid and a page was established under that name. I have never been credited on-screen as Hackett Brigid. All of the credits currently listed for 'Hackett Brigid' should be listed on the page for Brigid Hackett as that is the name under which I have always been credited, and so these pages should be merged."
(The idea is to indicate in the explanation that you know exactly what you are requesting and why and that you are doing so in accord with IMDb policy.)
Click "Check these updates".
On the next screen, you will receive two warnings. One will say, "By unticking the box to preserve existing credits, you are implying they are incorrect. ..." The other will say, "You are about to merge two separate name pages into one. Are you sure you wish to merge this name page into the page for Hackett, Brigid? ..." Both of those are what you want, so check the boxes marked "Warning understood, go ahead anyway" for both warnings. Click "Re-check these updates".
On the next screen, your data should appear with a green background and you should be able to click "Submit these updates".
Allow a few days for your merge to be processed. Good luck!

Thank you so much for your help too!
I think it might have worked this time. : ) I did as you advised and put a link to this thread in the explanation box and checked warnings understood and it let me submit it this time...
