Name does NOT populate in the search bar

I have tried to contact IMDB four times now and have yet to hear back.

I have an IMDB pro account along with my IMDB account. Now, I recently ran into an issue where someone was trying to add my name to a credit for a production and could not find me in the search bar. When I type in my name it does not appear but then when I go onto pro.imdb.com and type my name in it does appear. Why is this? Please help me fix this.

@Peter_pbn I tested on the username now. The problem is there, so probably that name. You don't find the name via IMDb search, but you do find the imdb page via googel with name + imdb.

The problem may be related to the “Adult” genre of the movie Son of a Bikram (2026) in Lena's filmography...

Hi lenacoccetti-

As @ljdoncel put above, this is correct, the name page is not showing on the search bar because it has been labelled as an 'adult' profile because of that genre added to the film above.

Now, further investigating and as per our IMDb genre guidelines, the 'Adult' genre was incorrectly added to this title.

The genre has been removed and the incorrect 'adult' tags as well from the name pages. Once the changes have been updated, you will be able to find your name on the search bar again.
