My script is listed as "in development"
Hello, I have a script in IMDB: here is the IMDB address for the title:
https://pro.imdb.com/title/tt11638944/
It has been winning multiple awards and getting attention on social media, etc., but it cannot be seen on IMDB.com because of it's status as "in development."
I am preparing to talk to producers, raise funds, etc., to get a film underway. I myself would be a producer - as the creator - but as an "in development" project I'm worried that a) the project can't be seen by those without an IMDBPro account (potential investors) and b) it misleads potential collaborators to believe that development of a film is underway.
Can the project status be changed to "script" only, even if I'm attached as writer, producer, actor? Or some other status besides "in development"? As I mentioned above, having my name attached reflects a creator's status, not the project status.
Please advise how to change this to make the project more visible and welcome interest and collaboration going forward. Thank you so much! Marie Smalley

Hi mariesmalley-
Thank you for posting the link! Further revieiwng, I can see that this title already has the 'Script' production status in the 'Details' section.
If there is any other further update on the production status of this title, this can be submitted through the contribution form on IMDbPro.
For further detailed information on Production Statuses for both In-Prod and In-Dev titles, you can review our following Help Guide.
Cheers!

Hi Maya, thanks for the reply
Maybe I'm misunderstanding... are projects with the production status "script" considered "in development"? My query was really about "in development" projects being visible to IMDBpro members only. Should I change it to "production unknown" so non-Pro members can see that it's on IMDB?
I wish IMDB would show the project, even if it's a script, in our credits, with a block to visiting the project page unless you're logged into Pro. Screenwriting projects should be shown on the creator's page ... imho
