My review of Elysium has vanished

Hello:

I reviewed Elysium as El-Stupidium on 17 Aug 2013. I find the review under my reviews and it states that 467,749 votes were cast for the review

If you sort the Elysium reviews for the 1 star reviews there are 81 1 star reviews.

My review does not show.

Why has my review which garnered 467,749 votes been banned from being viewed\read?

Hello Bethany:

Thank you for the questions. I am not sure what my answers are. Here is what I can tell you:

1) I did not keep the original confirmation e-mail from IMDB so I do not know the 18-digit submission number.

I can tell you that this is the second time I have noticed the review disappearing. Somehow I contacted IMDB 5 years ago or so and it was restored.

2) According the link below I reviewed the title on August 17, 2013. This is the link for "my ratings" and the review is #72 on the list of reviews. This is also where I pull the votes total from.

The header states I have 97 ratings

"Public

97 (of 97) titles"

3) My reviews link

This is where it gets weirder. The link is to my reviews link. At the bottom of the reviews link it says "See all 96 reviews »"

Now...I have been on IMDB for 14 years so I average 6.5 reviews a year...not many. The Elysium review is the only review I have ever done on the first day of a movie...I took care of Mom after her stroke and I could not go to the movie theater.

The only way I rate a movie is if I post a review. There are 97 ratings and 96 reviews. What review is missing? The Elysium review!

Since this is the second time I have sought help finding the review and since there is a discrepency between ratings and reviews that should not be there I am think the El-Stupidium review really pissed off those who seek to make money off the film and they have found a way to make the review "disappear."

I mean...every other review I posted is there and works fine...except for this single review...and this is the second time this has happened with this review

Well...that's the extent of what I can tell you.
