My ratings are not taken into account

On Friday (27th of November), I rated several movies and my ratings were saved in my account. I know IMDB takes some time to add individual ratings, so I waited almost two days and I checked today. But I noticed that my ratings have not been taken into account yet (almost two days after). Indeed, some of the movies I rated have still the same total number of ratings that before I added mine (It is the case for at least 4 movies I rated on Friday). I also noticed in the details of ratings displayed by IMDB for each movie, that for example the number of ratings for a « 3 » is the same as before I added my « 3 » (I also rated movies with different ratings such as « 9 » but I checked with 1 movie I gave a « 3 »). So I am pretty sure my ratings are not taken into account for a reason I ignore. IMDB indicates that all individual ratings are supposed to be taken into account, so why ? Can you please check with my account and correct it to add my ratings for movies ? I would like to add some more, but I won’t till the problem is not solved

Hi Occitanie -

I reviewed your account and can confirm that your ratings from November 27th have been accounted for.  The rating count may take a few days to populate and is not immediately updated in live-time on the site.

Please wait a few more days and then the titles again that you have noted no change and report them to us for our staff to investigate further.

Cheers!

Hi, I am sorry, but there have been 5 days now that I made my ratings and on some movies with few ratings or changes, I saw that my ratings were not counted. I have 2 examples. For the short movie « Agua » (2014) from Ricardo Esparragoza, the total number of ratings was 57 before I added mine and it has not changed since. It should be 58 with my rating, but it is still 57. For the movie « The man of my life » (2006) from Zabou Breitman, I looked at the split of ratings for the movie and there was 30 ratings with a « 3 » before I added mine. It should be 31 ratings with a « 3 »(as I put a « 3 »), but it is still 30. I think that it is the same for my other ratings. Can you please investigate further and count my ratings please ?

I have a third example. For « A brother » (2018) from Martin Escoffier, there was 6 ratings with a « 2 » before I added mine. I put a « 2 » also, so there should be at least 7 ratings with a « 2 » now. Unfortunately, it is still 6 ratings with a « 2 »

Occitanie,

When posting here, it's always preferable that you include actual URLs to the page(s) you discuss.

Agua » (2014) from Ricardo Esparragoza appears to be

https://www.imdb.com/title/tt7235238/ratings

The man of my life » (2006) from Zabou Breitman

https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0462683/ratings

A brother » (2018) from Martin Escoffier

https://www.imdb.com/title/tt9369620/ratings

Yes, these are the right url for these 3 movies. Thank you. These are 3 examples, but I think that all the 48 ratings I made the 27th of November were not taken into account. Hope it will be solved. And here is my url https://m.imdb.com/user/ur126055448

Hey - double checking your account I can confirm we've received your ratings.

It could be that in this case the simple answer is what happened and that somebody else who rated these titles deleted their account or took back their rating.

It could also be that ratings on that title were removed or the calculation was updated based on your rating, as we have a system that is designed to defeat attempts to skew the ratings on titles. Unfortunately we can't reveal any details about this system for it's own protection.
