My IMDb name doesn't appear on the list of available options when submitting a new title

Hi all,

I'm submitting a new title for a feature documentary nearing completion and release, and when assigning the director my IMDb name doesn't appear in the available list. I have a relatively common name, and I am number XVII, but the list of similar names to select from stops at number VII. I am also logged in as myself while submitting, but the system doesn't notice this clue.

So, without being able to select my name, I am unable to create the new title. And I can't separately assign my correct name until the the title exists. Is there a known way out of this impasse?
